Professional golfer and Wisconsin native Steve Stricker is down to his last resort as he attempts to play in the U.S. Open at Erin Hills in June.
After the U.S. Golf Association denied his exemption request, Stricker will head down to Memphis next Monday to play in the 36-hole U.S. Open sectional qualifier.

Stricker last played in the U.S. Open in 2014, and tied for 21st. He tied for 16th at the Masters tournament in April.
