Former NFL coach Dennis Green, who spent 13 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals, died Friday, ESPN reports.
Green's friend Ray Anderson confirmed the news to ESPN's Adam Schefter, who tweeted the news Friday morning.
Former Vikings and Cardinals coach Dennis Green died early this morning after suffering cardiac arrest, per friend Ray Anderson. He was 67.

Green's Vikings teams made the playoffs eight out of the ten seasons he coached in Minnesota, reaching as far as the NFC Championship Game in both the 1998 and 2000 seasons.
He had a winning record against the Green Bay Packers during his tenure by a small margin - 11 games to 9.
