Local sprint car drivers, Bill Balog and John Degnitz teaming up to help the MACC fund win big.
“We put a lot of pressure on ourselves anyway, but it's a little something extra,” Balog added. “If you're just doing things for yourself, that's one thing, but you're helping somebody else at the same time."
Balog is a seven time IRA series champion and has the most feature wins in IRA history. He donates a portion of his winnings and merchandise sales to the MACC fund.
“Anything we can do to help,” says Balog. “I have two kids and they're healthy and everything, but there's a special place for kids that are in need, for us.”
