There will be no “Trump-etology” after all. According to the Washington Post, the White House turned down ESPN’s offer to continue the presidential bracket for the NCAA tournament now that Donald Trump is in office.

An ESPN spokesman said in a statement to the Washington Post: “We expressed our interest to the White House in continuing the presidential bracket. They have respectfully declined.”

White House spokesman Hope Hicks, in an email to The Washington Post, said: "We look forward to working with ESPN on another opportunity in the near future."

Barack Obama made his bracket selections on ESPN all eight years of his presidency. The network dubbed the segment, “Barack-etology.”

Obama selected the eventual winner one time in his eight years. He correctly picked North Carolina with his first bracket in 2009.

Two of Obama’s brackets are now at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.
