In Rio de Janeiro, Gwen Jorgensen became the first American woman to win gold in the Olympic Triathlon.
Jorgensen is from Waukesha and went on to get her degree at UW-Madison. She now lives in Minnesota but she recently returned to Wisconsin as a guest at the Wisconsin Bike Federation's Saris Gala.
She spoke with TODAY'S TMJ4 about the race course in Rio, what it meant to have her Wisconsin family cheering her on and whether she is training for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
