It's about time.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will be on the cover of 'Madden 18,' making it the first Madden cover appearance of his career.

Brady will turn 40 by the start of the 2017 NFL season. He is the oldest active player to appear on the cover of the EA SPORTS video game.

Brady took home his fifth Super Bowl ring in February after a historic comeback win against the Atlanta Falcons. He is also a two-time league MVP and a 12-time Pro Bowler.

Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski was on the cover of 'Madden 17' last year.
