MILWAUKEE -- The accolades keep rolling in for legendary Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre.
The Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) announced Thursday that the GreenLine will temporarily be renamed the Favre Line.
The renaming will be in effect from Nov. 19 until Thanksgiving, when Favre's jersey will be retired at Lambeau Field.
Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele announced the honorary line Thursday at a bus stop at Water and Wisconsin Avenue -- where the GreenLine and GoldLine meet.
Riders are encouraged to post photos to social media of themselves on the Favre Line using the hashtag #FavreLine.
The Favre Line runs from Bayshore Mall to Mitchell International Airport.
