The up and down recruiting saga of Marcus Mbow is finally over. Signed, sealed and delivered.

"With that being said, I'm going to be committing to, Purdue University baby!" Marcus Mbow says.

And with that? Tosa East Offensive Tackle Marcus Mbow is staying in Big Ten country with the Boilermakers.

Lance Allan of TMJ4 Sports asks why Purdue?

"Well, the coaching staff there is just very genuine," Marcus Mbow says. "Unbelievable staff. I feel like if I go to Purdue? You know, my chances to get to the NFL. And on top of that, have a great job is just going to be, you know, extremely high."

Genuine the keyword. After Mbow committed to Arizona State, and they dropped him late in the process.

"Best feeling in the world. Haven't been this happy in a while," Mbow says. "And just so much, you know, stress relief off my shoulders. It's the best feeling ever, you know."

And now, a sense of relief sets in.

"Yeah, I'm glad it's over," Mbow says. "I mean it was; it's a blessing. You know, it's awesome. But super stressful and super, you know, deteriorating on the mind, so I'm glad it's over but you know, I'm excited to get to the next level."

Mbow added his relationships helped him bounce back at Purdue after getting scorched by the Sun Devils.
