Playoffs may start Friday but Menomonee Falls has had a do or die mentality for the past couple of weeks. In the last game of the regular season, they pulled off the upset against Brookfield Central, handing them their only loss of the season.

“We were fighting for our lives there,” said senior captain Brandon Schaefer. “We had to give everything there. We didn’t have to worry about next week because it was only there and right now.”
On a night when they could have felt all the pressure, senior night, homecoming and a must win game, the Indians played their best game of the season.
“No one expected us to win and we were able to pull it out,” said senior captain Matt Henningsen.
Down by 10 in the second half, Menomonee Falls showed heart and fight in their 21-17 comeback win.
“We have to keep going one step at a time because it's our last shot,” Henningsen said.
Friday they play another do or die game against another undefeated team in Menasha but they still feel no pressure.
“Nothing's changed since last week,” Schaefer said. “If we lose, that could be the end of our season so we're in the same situation.”
Congratulations, Menomonee. You’re Today's TMJ4 Football Frenzy Team of the Week.
