Superstitious Packers fans come out of the closet

Every bit helps before Sunday's game

With only two days until the Packers take the field and go head to head with the Cowboys in Dallas, fans were quick to express their superstitious behavior on Friday the 13th.

"The last seven games I've been wearing the same sweatshirt," Packers fan Gary Anders said.

Anders owns Green and Gold Zone in West Allis. He said he'll have superstition on his side this Sunday while rooting for a Packers win.

"You never know, but there's no reason to push it," Anders continued.

Other fans have decided to do away with tradition, and switch things up for game day.

"This is probably the first season that I haven't gone out and watched the game either at friends or the bar," Grace Halenka said. "So I don't know if that was good luck or not."

Some people argue it doesn't take much magic or mystery to believe in a Packers win.

"I just turn it [the TV] on," Dennis Becker said. "I'll watch it. We'll have it going on at least two TVs in the house and we go from there."

The Packers NFL Divisional Round is slated for Sunday, June 15th at 3:40 p.m.
