GREEN BAY -- It looks like the Packers will be without their workhorse running back for the foreseeable future.
In a tweet Tuesday evening, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Lacy's injury was worse than originally disclosed, and he'll be out for "several weeks":
Sources: The #Packers are expected to be without workhorse RB Eddie Lacy for several weeks. It's more than a sprained ankle.

With backup James Starks on the shelf as well, the Packers are likely to turn to recently-signed running back Knile Davis as their starter.
The news follows reports earlier Tuesday that cornerback Sam Shields was placed on injured reserve.
The Packers take on the Chicago Bears Thursday night at Lambeau Field.
