GREEN BAY -- A Packers offensive lineman will be going under the knife after being ruled out for 2017.
Kyle Murphy will have foot surgery next week, according to the Journal Sentinel's Michael Cohen.
The Packers placed him on injured reserve after he hurt his foot on Sept. 24 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Green Bay signed Ulrick John as a replacement for Murphy in a very thin corps of offensive tackles due to other injuries, including some to starters David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga.
