MADISON – A prayer vigil has been planned in Madison right before Sunday’s Packer game for Aaron Rodger’s broken collarbone

The “Prayer vigil for Aaron Rodgers’ was created on Facebook and says it will be a short vigil “for our beloved Packers.”

The Facebook post says:

“We hope and pray for our defense to be strong, our offense to be quick and for the greatest collarbone in football history to heal quickly. In Hundley we trust. Can I get a Claymen!”

The event admits it's a joke but has good intentions as it hopes to raise money for the MACC fund to fight childhood cancer.

"A broken collarbone pales in comparison to what many children have to face on a daily basis,” the post said.

So far, nearly one-thousand people have said they are attending and thousands more say they are interested.

The event takes place Sunday, October 22 at Bascom Hill in Madison from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
