GREEN BAY -- What is a Packers player to do when you miss your connecting flight, it's too late to get another flight to Titletown, and the Minnesota airport you're flying into apparently is out of rental cars?
If you're cornerback Davon House, you ask for help from the fans on Twitter. That's exactly what happened Monday night when a couple of unexpecting Packers fans suddenly found themselves driving the six-year pro across the state to Lambeau Field.
The entire story unfolded in real time on Twitter, and started just after 8:30 Monday night when House lamented the fact he likely wouldn't be making the final leg of his journey back to Green Bay via plane, before soliciting the help of the Internet at large:
I can't believe I might have to drive from Minnesota to Green Bay ??? why rain why ?

Any packer fans in Minnesota want to take a trip to Green Bay ? maybe I can hitch hike a ride ?

Luckily for House, a hero named Mikey and his brother Chad stepped in, picking House up at the airport and making the late-night journey all the way to Green Bay.
My brother @mikeyj14 is picking him up and bringing him to GB. He will be ready for OTAs! ????

While the two Minnesota-based fans no doubt made the trip out of the goodness of their hearts, they got a pretty sweet reward too: A private tour of the Green Bay Packers locker room, plus signed swag:
Sure did. Davon was far too gracious. Took us in the locker room, took photos w/ us, signed cleats and gloves. True class act. All @ 3:30am!

House played four seasons with the Packers before spending two years with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was re-signed by Green Bay earlier this year.
