Verizon is launching a Super Bowl campaign celebrating first responders with a series of commercials showing NFL players and coaches who credit first responders for being here today.
Green Bay Packers star Clay Matthews is one of the players showcased in the series. He thanks the first responders who saved his life after he fell off his scooter and landed face-first into asphalt when he was a kid.
Matthews says he suffered a concussion, and his brain was swelling, The ad also features soundbites from Matthews' mom in an emotional thank-you to first responders as well.
The first of the ads will be played during the NFC and AFC championship games Sunday and will culminate into one ad during Super Bowl LIII. This is part of Verizon's #AllOurThanks campaign.
