The Green Bay Packers have announced three new coaches to join the ranks of assistants under Mike McCarthy.
The team said it hired:
- Jeff Blasko as assistant offensive line coach
- Tim McGarigle as defensive quality control coach
- David Raih as offensive perimeter coach
Blasko joined the Packers in 2016 in coaching administration. For four years, he was a tight ends coach in college: Kansas (2012-14) and the University of Pennsylvania (2015).
McGarigle moves to the Packers after being a linebackers coach at the University of Illinois last year. He also coached that position at Western Michigan from 2012-15. He played for the Rams in 2007.
Raih was with the Packers the last three years - 2014-15 as a coaching administrator, leas year as an assistant on the offensive line. He played quarterback aa Iowa and then coached there for three years.
