A Chicago Bears defensive player will miss only one game games after the way he illegally struck Packers wide receiver Davante Adams, sending him to the hospital.

The NFL suspended Danny Trevathan for two games, but the suspension has been reduced to one game after his appeal.

Trevathan led with his head while attempting to tackle Adams, who was already defenseless while in the control of a Bears player after catching a pass from Aaron Rodgers Thursday night.

Adams was checked out at Bellin Hospital Thursday for possible head and neck injuries.

He was one of seven players injured in the Packers' 35-14 win.
