Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers announced this month he's cutting dairy from his diet. That includes cheese. This isn't sitting well among many in the land of cheeseheads.
Wisconsin Travel and Tourism Secretary Stephanie Klett tells Wisconsin's Afternoon News her office sent Rodgers a cheese basket.
"Number 12 is going to get some cheese whether he wants it or not. He might be worried about inflammation, but it is time that he experiences Wisconsin's world-class, number one, award-winning cheese. We love him and we support him and he's world-class, and our cheese is world-class. They just need to get along," Klett says.
Rodgers said he was adopting a stricter eating regimen following knee surgery in January, reports 620 WTMJ.
