There's nothing for a Packers fan to enjoy about this sentence: The Packers (6-3) will aim to snap a three-game losing streak Sunday when they take on the first place Vikings (7-2).

Aaron Rodgers' right shoulder injury, as listed on the team's official injury report, led him to limited participation in practice Wednesday.

Prior to Wednesday's practice, Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy addressed the media. Below are some top-line notes.
?- Eddie Lacy (groin) will practice today (which he did, with full participation despite his groin injury). Hopeful he can practice each day this week. Starks will take the first series vs Minnesota regardless.
- Jared Abrederris will be out several weeks with an injury that McCarthy did not disclose (later disclosed as a rib/chest injury). Hoping he can bounce back quickly.
- Jeff Janis is performing well, but has been outperformed in practice by others (such as Abrederris). Janis' snaps are a reflection of the practice week.
- Offense needs to get back on track. Need to overcome challenges. Need to defeat challenges presented by opposing defenses.
- Doesn't want to overreact to the past three weeks. There are staples/concepts to the offense that the team must execute better.
- Throwing the ball 61 times in one game is excessive. Need to rethink/learn from that.
- Vikings have adapted well in year two of Mike Zimmer's program. Playing faster and quicker (on offense and defense). Adrian Peterson still a feature back that is well-utilized. Also disciplined on special teams.
- Vikings want to control tempo with run game...they want to "shorten the game".
- Number of guys (including Rodgers) are banged up. Will be conservative with guys today (Wednesday).
- Andrew Quarless feels better, but will not practice this week.
- Ty Montgomery had not been medically cleared to practice yet. (He practiced with full participation with his ankle injury.)
- Urgency is heightened with division games. Have to stay true to the process. Back to back Thursday games will be a unique challenge.

The rest of the injury list:
- T David Bakhtiari, limited with a knee injury
- S Morgan Burnett, full practice with an ankle injury
- DB Micah Hyde, limited with a hip injury
- WR James Jones, full with a quadricep injury
- LB Clay Matthews, limited with an ankle and knee injury
- LB Mike Neal, full with a hip injury
- LB Nick Perry, full with a shoulder/hand injury
- G Josh Sitton, limited with a knee injury
