Thursday is the Green and Gold's first preseason game against the Houston Texans.
It will be first time fans will see how some of the changes will work out for the team. Those changes include a new coach and new players, which means new hope among fans.
The players had a day off from training Wednesday in preparation for Thursday's game. The Packers most likely will be without one player - Aaron Rodgers says he doesn't expect to play Thursday. He did say that he might play the second and third games.
Head Coach Matt LaFleur says preseason is the best time to see how players respond in game situations.
If you're attending the game, remember that only season tickets are still accepted in a printed form. “Print at home" tickets have been eliminated so you must enter with a mobile ticket.
Also don't forget about the stadium safety policies. No bags or purses are allowed. You can bring in a clear plastic bag that is no larger than 12" by 6" by 12".
The Lambeau Field parking lots will open at 3 p.m., with stadium gates opening at 5 p.m. The game gets started at 7 p.m.
