The team posted on its official Instagram account, "Now that irma has passed, we have to thank Wisconsin for their hospitality. Your department and fans are some of the best. Thank you."

The team was in Madison for a matchup with the Badgers as Hurricane Irma made landfall down south.

The university was one of the few collegiate football teams from Florida to play over the weekend. Wisconsin won 31-14, but the Owls did not head back to campus after the loss and still remains in Madison. They are currently looking for a flight back home.

The Badgers have offered to pay for the team's hotel expenses and are allowing them to use their facilities as they prepare for their next game Saturday in Florida.

The Owls host Bethune-Cookman in Boca Raton next Saturday, September 16.

Wisconsin heads to Utah for a matchup with BYU that same day.
