A sendoff at Cardinal Stritch as the Wolves make the NAIA National Women's Basketball Tournament for the 18th-straight season.

"I think the expectation is to make the national tournament, but we never take it for granted and enjoy it every year," Head Coach John Pfaffl said.

Kelli Schrauth made her own history, passing Julie Raeder as the school's all-time leading scorer.

"She's actually one of our assistants," Schrauth said. "It's definitely an honor, especially as a senior.""

These Wolves don't just roll the ball out and expect success though. And this team has a different story than others.

"Very simple...the biggest key was playing unselfish," Pfaffl said. "Players just collectively said, 'We are going to do what it takes. Set aside egos.'"

But making the National Championship in Iowa during all of the 2000's and 2010's, is quite an accomplishment.

"It's a nice story. It's part of who we are," Pfaffl said.
