After tough sledding in recent weeks, both Milwaukee-based big-name basketball teams got defining victories on Monday night.
Both the Milwaukee Bucks and Marquette got big-time wins, the Bucks riding former Detroit Piston Greg Monroe to beat his old team, Marquette with a full-blown team effort to overcome Ben Simmons and ranked LSU in Brooklyn.
Both teams have more challenges ahead of them - the Bucks, a southern road trip this week, Marquette a contest against Arizona State to finish off their journey to Brooklyn. Oh, and let's not forget UW and UWM - both with some interesting road games this week.
