He's won multiple NBA championship rings and led Marquette to the Final Four. Apparently, the first steps are being taken to try to bring him to Milwaukee.

ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported that the Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks have begun contract talks. The Journal Sentinel's Charles Gardner reports the Bucks and Wade will meet next week.

Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski says the offers for Wade - which also include the Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets - are upwards of $20 million.

The 13-year NBA veteran has three championship rings with the Miami Heat and was the 2005-06 NBA Finals MVP.

That came three seasons after he led Marquette to the Final Four.

In all, Wade has played in 12 NBA All-Star Games and has eight selections on the All-NBA first, second or third teams.
