Giannis Antetokounmpo earns Eastern Conference honor for second consecutive week

MILWAUKEE — Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has been selected the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Antetokounmpo, who has won the honor four times this season, led Milwaukee to a 3-0 record last week, averaging 30.7 points, 12.7 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 blocks and 2.3 steals per game. He shot 62.1 percent from the field.

The Bucks star recorded his third triple-double of the season with 31 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 129-115 win against the New Jersey Nets on Saturday.

Milwaukee (25-10) has the NBA’s best record.
