The league's former MVP and current free-agent Derrick Rose is reportedly meeting with the Milwaukee Bucks.

According to ESPN’S Adrian Wojnarowski, the 2008 overall first draft pick is meeting with the team on Monday.

Milwaukee is just 90 miles from Chicago, Rose’s hometown, and the city that drafted him. He played with the New York Knicks last season after playing seven seasons with the Chicago Bulls.

If he chooses Milwaukee, Rose will have a special connection with the Bucks' power forward Jabari Parker. Both players got their start at Simeon Career Academy in Chicago.

Since becoming the youngest MVP in history in 2011, Rose has dealt with a heap of injury issues. He tore his ACL during the 2012 NBA Playoffs. Then 10 days into his return in October of 2013 Rose tore his meniscus in his other leg.
