He has a decade and a half of coaching and basketball development experience. He may be more well-known as the brother of First Lady Michelle Obama.

Craig Robinson is joining the Milwaukee Bucks staff as Vice President of Player and Organizational Development, the team announced Monday.

“It’s so important to surround our young players with talented and experienced people that can help mentor and guide them through the different stages of their careers,” said General Manager John Hammond in a team statement.

“Craig has an impressive set of qualifications that we feel will be beneficial to our players and our entire organization. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome him to the Bucks family.”

Those qualifications include 15 years coaching at the collegiate level as a head coach at Oregon State (2008-14) and an assistant at Northwestern and Brown.
