The Milwaukee Brewers are debuting $20 million in renovations at Miller Park for the start of the new season. Most of the improvements come in the food and beverage area.
They include 11 new concession stands and 3 new bars with an emphasis on local. Brewer C.O.O Rick Schlesinger says “local is big, this community likes local food options” The new First Base Ward area features locally recognized names like Zaffiro’s Pizza, AJ Bombers, Smoke Shack Barbeque and J.Agave’s Tacos.
Also you will notice three new bars one featuring 24 local brews.
In addition the Brewers are introducing new app features that are designed to help fans get around, sort out and find all the new options. “Particularly with all of the changes that we made we want to make it as easy for them (fans) to find exactly what they are looking for in a convenient way” said Brewers Communications coordinator Nicole Blackman. The app is available for Iphone and Android by searching "Ballpark."
