Six Brewers minor leaguers listed among Baseball America's top 100 prospects

Six Milwaukee Brewers minor leaguers were ranked in Baseball America's updated list of its Top 100 prospects.

23-year-old outfielder Lewis Brinson is ranked first among Brewers prospects and 20th across all of baseball. Brinson came to Milwaukee last summer as the key return piece in the Jonathan Lucroy-Jeremy Jeffress trade with Texas.

Brinson is batting .333/.393/.527 with four home runs and four stolen bases in 22 games with Triple-A Colorado Springs this season.

The five other Brewers prospects listed by Baseball America are:

  • LHP Josh Hader (31)
  • OF Corey Ray (36)
  • RHP Luis Ortiz (73)
  • RHP Brandon Woodruff (74)
  • IF Isan Diaz (87)

Yoan Moncada of the Chicago White Sox is listed as the top overall prospect, according to Baseball America. Moncada joined the South Siders this past offseason in the Chris Sale trade with Boston.
