The Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago White Sox have made a trade to give Milwaukee a relief pitcher for the stretch run.

The Brewers are picking up Joakim Soria in a trade from the Chicago White Sox.

Milwaukee will give Chicago pitchers Kodi Medeiros and Wilber Pérez.

Soria, a 12-year veteran, has a 2.56 ERA and 16 saves in 40 appearances this year. He has made two All-Star appearances.
