MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Brewers have had a rough couple of weeks, and now they've likely lost starting pitcher Brent Suter for the rest of the season, perhaps longer.
Per Ken Rosenthal, Suter has a torn UCL and will likely have to have Tommy-John Surgery. Suter had an issue earlier this season with his forearm, and it appears that these two seem to be connected.
#Brewers’ Suter has torn UCL, sources tell The Athletic. Likely Tommy John.

The 28-year-old Suter is 8-7 with a 4.44 ERA so far this season. This is his third season in MLB and he has throw more innings this year (101.1) than any other.
With Jimmy Nelson and Junior Guerra on the DL, the Brewers are in desperate need of a starting pitcher, or two. With MLB trade deadline a week from Tuesday, look for GM David Stearns to be very aggressive this week.
