Milwaukee Brewers left-handed reliever and match up nightmare Josh Hader has been awarded the Trevor Hoffman Reliever of the Year Award. Hader takes home the trophy on the National League side

Seattle closer Edwin Diaz takes home the Mariano Rivera Reliever of the Year award for the American League side.

In 55 appearances, the National League all-star pitcher posted a 6-1 record with a 2.43 ERA including 12 saves on the season.  Hader also held opposing batters to a .132 batting average, with left-handed hitters only posting a .090 batting average.

Hader stretched his dominance into the postseason, pitching 10 scoreless innings with 16 strikeouts.

The narrative all year has been on Hader's use from the bullpen. There were only 23 games in where Josh pitched at least 2 innings. The Brewers were 23-0 in those games.
