After a major collision at the plate Monday night, a Milwaukee Brewers catcher who has been a run producer since coming to the team will go on the disabled list.

Stephen Vogt will head to the DL for 10 days, with pitcher Junior Guerra heading back to the team from the disabled list. He will start tonight at Pittsburgh (5:30 p.m. on WTMJ).

Journal Sentinel Brewers beat writer Todd Rosiak reports that, according to manager Craig Counsell, Vogt will be out at least one month with a strained MCL.

Additionally, pitcher Tyler Webb and infielder Yadiel Rivera will head to AAA Colorado Springs, with pitcher Michael Blazek and catcher Jett Bandy heading from there to the Brewers.

Vogt left Monday's game with a knee and neck strain following a play at the plate against Pittsburgh Monday.

Vogt has a .250 average with four home runs and nine RBI in 12 games and 28 plate appearances, with a .991 OPS, leading the team.
