MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Brewers are losing a key starter in their hopes of a 2017 postseason berth.
The team announced that Jimmy Nelson's shoulder will sideline him for the remainder of 2017.
He injured his shoulder Friday in Milwaukee's 2-0 win Friday in Chicago.
Nelson finishes 2017 with a 12-6 record and a 3.49 ERA.
