MILWAUKEE — The Miller Park sign said it all. The hope was Opening Day 2020. Instead, the Brewers found out two Cardinals tested positive for COVID-19.

So, the game has been postponed.

I asked Owner Mark Attanasio about his team having a few positive tests. He credits Director of Medical Operations Roger Caplinger, and some additional help.

"I'll say randomness and good luck...and the environments you're in. That has the most to do with it," Attanasio says.

Attanasio says today's postponement is to help try to play the entire season. But even he admits that is getting difficult.

"I'm trying to balance optimism with realism," Attanasio says.
