MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Brewers have canceled the ninth-annual Brewers Mini-Marathon, which was scheduled to take place on August 29.

The team said in a release the move comes with "the community's safety and health as the top priority."

The event, presented by PNC Bank, includes a half-marathon, 10K, and 5K race with proceeds to benefit the MACC Fund.

Anyone who is currently registered for the events does not need to take any action as your registration will be automatically transferred to the 2021 races.

Those choosing not to take part in 2021 have the option to defer to 2022, donate their registration fee to the MACC Fund, or receive a refund. To do so, sign in to your Race Roster account using the same email you registered with and update your status.
