The Milwaukee Brewers are on a roll.  We're halfway through baseball season and your home team is in the top spot in the National League Central Division.  Fans excitement might have something to do with ticket sales being up compared to this time last year.

"How can you go wrong when the Brew Crew is in first place.  About them Cubbies," fan Drew Krueger said.

Brewers fans say there's no place they'd rather be soaking in the team's success than Miller Park.

"Couldn't be prouder to be here right now," fan Jeff Christel said.

Many longtime supporters are shocked the Brewer's have held on to the top spot in their division this far into the season.

“I say this is probably one of the best teams that the Brewers had since the ’82 when they won," fan Scott Dvorachek said.

Most fans admitted they didn't see this coming.

"Absolutely not.  I mean it's a rebuilding year," Krueger said.

"I was a little reluctant, knowing that they were losing a few big name players," said Christel.

Brewers fans are giving their young team a lot of credit.

"They stuck it together and they're really pulling it out.  It's awesome to see," said Christel.

"They're playing as a unit.  They're playing as a team," said Dvorachek.

And these fans think they know what will take the team all the way.

"Need an ace pitcher," fan Justin Duchow said.

Others aren't getting their hopes up.

"I don't foresee an October," fan Fawne Storzer said.

But hope still reigns supreme.

"They're gonna make the playoffs this year.  I can guarantee that," said Dvorachek.
