MILWAUKEE, WI - Saturday was a disappointing night for the Brewers. The team fell 4-3 to the Dodgers in game two of the NLCS. With 2 games down and at least 3 to go, the series is now tied 1-1.
“I think we’ll be alright, this team has been tough all year, no matter who we’re playing," Jared Schultz said.
The loss also ends the Brew Crew's 12 game winning streak, but not before the team scored free burgers for fans from George Webb.
“Burgers are delicious, but I rather we had a win tonight,” Schultz said.
While most fans are keeping the faith, other fans like Mike O. admit tonight’s loss was a little tough to stomach.
“You know what, I knew we were going to win, but then we lost. Not good,” Mike O. said.
Winner of the series advances to the World Series something the Brewers haven’t done in over three decades, but in order to pull it off Kathy Oberbroeckling said the key is to keep hope alive.
“I already got tickets lined up for the world series, I’m not giving up yet,” Oberbroeckling said.
Game 3 is Monday at Dodger Stadium —first pitch is slated for 6:39 pm.
