INDIANAPOLIS -- The Wisconsin Badgers built an early lead but came up short against the Penn State Nittany Lions in the Big Ten Championship Game Saturday night.
Wisconsin took a 28-14 lead to the locker room at halftime, but was unable to keep up in the second half, scoring just one field goal across the third and fourth quarters. Corey Clement rushed for more than 150 yards and a score in the loss.
The season isn't over for the Badgers just yet. Though Saturday's loss effectively eliminates them from the College Playoff, they'll get one more shot at a to-be-named bowl game.
