The Packers 2015 season ended on a heartbreaking note in Arizona after a miracle game-tying drive to end regulation.
Now, the offseason begins. Head coach Mike McCarthy has addressed the media, as well as beginning personnel changes.
With free agency looming on March 15th, the Packers will have many names to consider - both staying and leaving - for the future roster. One of those free agents is fan favorite John Kuhn.
"I would love to be back in Green Bay," Kuhn told fellow 620WTMJ "Sports Central" host Greg Matzek on Wednesday night.
"I love my teammates here."
He says he hasn't started the process of re-signing with the Packers, but that will start in the next month or so.
"I'm not 100% sure either way how it's going to go. We're going to do the timetable game here and touch base with management around the (NFL) Combine, and get a touch, a feel of what they think from the outside. We'll move from there. Hopefully they have a want to bring me back."
Kuhn, who co-hosts a 620WTMJ talk show with analyst and former teammate Mark Tauscher, has not even come close to the point of renegotiation, because he still has pain to process from a season which ended earlier than his liking.
"These playoff losses are always really tough. Right now is probably the best I'll feel out of the next month, because immediately after the game, you're in shock. You're thinking about every little detail," he admitted.
"It takes about a day or two...you start getting some things for your offseason, getting some things accomplished...decompression, so you feel a bit better...when these other (NFL postseason) games start getting underway, you start reliving the agony and the pain."
