How many people does it take to help tug a tavern 25 feet?
WTMJ's "Wisconsin's Morning News with Gene Mueller" got the answer in a way that is quintessentially Wisconsin, with compassion and beer.
The Bosch Tavern in Hales Corners had to move 25 feet west due to road construction in the area. It's one of Gene's favorite spots.
Then came the idea: Let's get WTMJ listeners to actually move the tavern in an unmatched feat of strength.
We called it "Tug the Tavern."
