MILWAUKEE -- Another round of deadly terror attacks, this time in Brussels.
Milwaukee Archbishop Jerome Listecki tells Newsradio 620WTMJ it’s a reminder that evil still lives in this world.
“We have a choice,” he said. “We can either choose death of life. Death feeds off of terror and violence, life feeds off of love and peace. So, we choose what we want to be as a community, and the Easter message is that only one choice brings you life, the other brings you death.”
It’s Holy Week, and as he does each year, the Archbishop is sharing his Easter message.
“The same God who allows the violence to happen because it’s the choice, gives us also the choice to respond in kind with that,” he adds. “And the Easter message is that that type of response and that type of development is what gives life. The other gives death.”
