No matter how you slice it, it has not been a banner year for the Green Bay Packers. Still, with all the ups and downs, the Packers are one win away from taking another NFC North championship.
The only thing standing in their way is the Minnesota Vikings.
Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy knows that while his team beat Minnesota once before - this is a different football team than six weeks ago.
"Defensively they're playing really well, offensively they're running the ball well and hitting the play-action," McCarthy says, "but you know just like every other team - they're the same as us with trials and tribulations. Now we're playing for the championship."
The NFC North Championship is, of course, just one step in the ultimate goal of bringing back the Lombardi Trophy to Lambeau - but coach McCarthy says he's not thinking about the playoffs at this point.
"Step one is beating the Vikings - in this league it's all about who's in front of you."
