The pilot of an aircraft was injured after it crashed in Sheboygan County Friday afternoon.
The sheriff said the 1959 Piper Cub aircraft went down in the Town of Scott near County Road S and Ida Lane.
The pilot called 911 saying his aircraft lost power and he was attempting an emergency landing. The craft was damaged and the pilot injured, though the sheriff did not indicate the status of the pilot further.
The sheriff and the FAA are investigating the crash.
