MILWAUKEE — The City of Milwaukee is planning on hosting two job fairs on Wednesday Oct. 28 for Milwaukeeans looking for job opportunities.
Both events are drive-thru job fairs will be from noon until 4 p.m. One will take place on the North Side at Walgreens, at 9040 West Good Hope Road.
The other event will take place on the North-West side at Lincoln Park, 1301 West Hampton Avenue.
"The job fair events are enthusiastically supported by Common Council members...as a creative way to bring immediate job opportunities to residents (where they live) and in a manner that is safe during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic," according to a statement from the city.
The job fairs will focus on the 1st, 2nd, 5th and 9th Aldermanic Districts which have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
