While COVID-19 has affected pretty much every part of our lives, it’s even more stressful for anyone looking for an internship or summer job.
If you’re currently trying to find employment during the pandemic, Natural Light has a work-from-home opportunity that will not only help you pay your bills, but also sounds pretty fun!
The brand is looking for someone who can create the next flavor innovation, but unlike other internships that require coffee runs and perhaps some not-so-fun tasks, this one will test the limits of your creativity, imagination and — of course — taste buds.
Here’s the Instagram announcement of the internship from @naturallightbeer:
To qualify, you will need deep experience with social media and must have the ability to stay on task and be creative while working from home. Along with creating the next flavor to join the Natural Light family, you will be working on guerilla marketing, making viral content and keeping the brand manager up to date on current trends in the industry, You will be designing some company swag and doing product research, too — which, yes, means drinking beer.
You’ll also need to be a self-starter with confidence and basic math and computer skills. A quality internet connection is also a must since all work will be done from home. You must be 21 years of age or older to apply.
The internship will last from June 8 to July 31. Pay is $40 an hour, which equals about $12,800 in total. You must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
To apply, you’ll need to post a photo of your idea (such as a sketch or doodle) to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter of your flavor innovation using hashtags #NattyIntern and #contest from now through May 17. Then you’ll fill out the application on Indeed.com. You must do both steps to qualify.
Entries will be judged on creativity, uniqueness and representation of the Natural Light Brand. The five eligible entries receiving the highest cumulative scores will receive a Skype and/or FaceTime interview and background check, then one person will be selected.
Do you think you have what it takes to be Natural Light’s new intern?
