MILWAUKEE -- Community members have decided to showcase African American entrepreneurship and promote local businesses by hosting the first MKE Black Restaurant Week.
It serves as an opportunity for black-owned restaurants to bring in new customers, raise awareness and allow Milwaukee to support minority owned eateries.
Each of the 11 restaurant's will have their own specials, and owners look at it as a great opportunity to get out and eat where you have never eaten before.
Milwaukee Black Restaurant week runs Sunday, April 17 through Saturday, April 23. To learn more, click here.
