MILWAUKEE -- The Generations Against Bullying Gala is taking place Sunday at Discovery World.
Wisconsin's First Lady, Tonette Walker, Board member with Generations Against Bullying (GAB) will be in attendance at GAB's annual fundraiser at the Discovery World's Pilot House on the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline in downtown Milwaukee Sunday.
It's also an event to share more about the epidemic of bullying and the devastating effects it is having in our communities and with our children. Leaders say "Bullycide" (suicide) is one of the leading causes of death in our children ages 8-14.
The event will share how GAB's unique programs are inspiring children and adults to be "upstanders" instead of bystanders to reduce bullying, offer hope, and save lives. The event helps raise funds to sustain our programs in schools and local communities.
