Not everyone will be taking a dunk in the lake on New Year's Day.
Some people may be flying a kite or even carving an ice sculpture at the Cool Fool Festival to celebrate the new year.
Vince Vintrano talks with Scott Fisher from Gift of Wings and Bob Lechtenburg, an ice carver, to talk more about the festival.
Cool Fool will take place from 11 am until 5 p.m. in Veterans Park on Milwaukee's Lakefront. There is free admission and parking.
