Tuesday is Children's Fest Day at Summerfest: Here's how to get in for free

Posted at 4:00 PM, Jul 01, 2019

Summerfest continues Tuesday with Children's Fest Day with TODAY'S TMJ4 at Henry Maier Festival Park.

All people entering the festival between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. will be able to get in for free.

Spend a fun-filled day with the family enjoying Children’s Fest activities including the Map of Fun and the Family Ticket Package drawing. Select food vendors will offer discounts on food and beverage items. Pick up the Map of Fun upon entering the gates and obtain a stamp on your map at each of the locations throughout the festival grounds, courtesy of Sentry with TODAY'S TMJ4.

Check out the TODAY'S TMJ4 tent near the Summerfest Midgate. We'll have our news team down there with fun giveaways, signing autographs and showing off the Storm Chaser.

Upon arrival, parents can get ID wristbands for their kids from any gate, thanks to Aurora Health Care. The Lost Children's Area near the Mid Gate will use the information on the wristband to help parents and children reunite in case anyone gets lost.

Aurora is also sponsoring air-conditioned nursing stations for mom and baby, as well as cooling stations available to help anyone avoid overheating.
